Initially trained at the European Institute for Music Professions in Le Mans, Florian Jougneau worked as a luthier for twenty years. He now focuses on music, bringing his craftsmanship skills to his artistic work.
He studied the Turkish oud first in France with Lior Blindermann and Ruben Tenenbaum, then in Turkey, where he attended the meşk gatherings of Istanbul and studied with masters Gürsel Torun and Necati Çelik.
He performs with several ensembles, including Uzak (Asia Minor), Ottomaniak (Ottoman music), Al Tarab (Middle Eastern music), Muhabbet Sesi (Songs of Anatolia), and Şinadika (Smyrneïko – Izmir). He is also co-founder of the Café Aman Association in Strasbourg.
Initialement formé à l’Institut Technologique Européen des Métiers de la Musique au Mans, Florian Jougneau a exercé le métier de luthier pendant vingt ans. Il se consacre aujourd’hui à la pratique de la musique, mettant ses compétences artisanales au service de ses projets artistiques.
Il s’est formé au oud turc, d’abord en France, auprès de Lior Blindermann et Ruben Tenenbaum, puis en Turquie, où il fréquente les meşk d’Istanbul ainsi que les maîtres Gürsel Torun et Necati Çelik.
Il fait partie de plusieurs formations telles que Uzak (Asie mineure), l’Ensemble Ottomaniak (musique ottomane), Al Tarab (musiques orientales), Muhabbet Sesi (Chants d’Anatolie), Şinadika (Smyrneïko – Izmir) et a co-fondé l’Association Café Aman de Strasbourg.
